Smart Choice Guarantee
The Smart Choice Guarantee adds to the benefits of the "Industry Standard Warranty".
When a customer chooses the Smart Choice Warranty, Coates Plumbing Inc. will:
- Extend the terms of the Industry Standard Warranty from 1 to 3 years.
- Cover the cost of applicable labor charges for 3 years.
- Extend the benefits and limitations of the manufacturer's warranty to 3 years.
- Manage product warranties for 3 years.
- Replace parts for 3 years.
- Provide priority to your service needs.
Limitations from the industry Standard Warranty apply.
Industry Standard Warranty
Coates Plumbing Inc. warrants its workmanship and materials to be free from defects during the warranty period. The warranty period is a maximum of one year in duration unless otherwise specified in writing. During the warranty time period, all labor and material are guaranteed against defective workmanship.
Defects in workmanship provided by Coates Plumbing Inc. will be repaired during the warranty period. Defects in materials provided by Coates Plumbing Inc. will be subject to the benefits and limitations of the manufactures warranty. These benefits and limitations shall extend to products, parts, materials, labor, and other damages.
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Materials provided by others.
- Labor when the material is provided by others.
- Product warranty management when materials are provided by others.
- Repairs are needed due to a manufacturer's defect.
- Products that have been tampered with by others.
- Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
- Repairs are required due to excessive wear and tear.
- Damage is caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- All warranties are void if payment is not made when due.
- Warranties extend only to the customer, with no outstanding balance, and are not transferrable.
- Resolutions to losses or damages caused by defective materials or workmanship are not covered by this warranty and are subject to insurance coverage.
Manufacturer warranties that exceed one year will be handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer of the product. Labor charges will be the responsibility of the homeowner and are due at the time of service.
Warranty services will be available during business hours.
It is the customers' responsibility to notify Coates Plumbing Inc. of issues related to the warranty within the warranty period. There is no provision for retroactive warranty repairs.
